The 3MTM RolocTM TR Disc Pad improves the performance of Roloc TR and bristles discs by acting as a backup system and a secure attachment for grinding operations. It also saves time by removing the need to align the disc's edges with the disc pad—the disc is aligned by the screw, making disc swaps quick and simple. The required level of hardness is determined by the task—choose a greater density for more aggressive applications and a lower, more flexible density for less aggressive applications—and the user's work style.
Use any drill, disc sander, right angle grinder, or rotary sander with the same size external thread as these disc pads. Can use Roloc Shank 45102 to mount disc pads with 1/4-20 internal threads to collet chuck tools (not included). The size and stiffness of the disc and disc pad determine the maximum RPM; check product specs for details.
