The final step to securing these components is to tighten the 3MTM Disc Retainer Nut, which is simple to use after positioning the disc pad hub, disc-pad face plate, and fiber disc onto the tool. To tighten the disc retaining nut on the spindle, use a 1-1/4 inch spanner wrench with 1/4 inch pins. The spanner wrenches with pneumatic or electric tools are compatible with 3MTM Disc Retainer Nuts.
