Internal components (master cylinder, shock absorber, roller pins, etc.) are the same in UFP actuators with capacities under 8,400lbs, requiring fewer replacement kits to service UFP actuator types. All UFP housings have the same dimensions, allowing for interchangeable inner members with capacities of less than 8,400 pounds. For greater strength and corrosion resistance, master cylinders are made of aluminum rather than plastic or steel. The reservoir diaphragm barrier in a sealed master cylinder prevents moisture from contaminating brake fluid and corroding brake components. Brake fluid cannot leak out of the reservoir and damage the paint on the trailer.

All UFP housings are manufactured with the same dimensions allowing interchangeable inner members with capacities 8,400lbs and under. Master cylinders are constructed of aluminum rather than plastic or steel for increased strength and corrosion resistance. The sealed master cylinder’s reservoir diaphragm barrier inhibits moisture from contaminating brake fluid and corroding brake components. Brake fluid cannot escape from the reservoir and damage the trailers paint. The reservoir cap is recessed to prevent damage. A dip stick is also included for easy fluid level checks. The A-75 actuator uses the industry standard lever lock latch. Unique to the A-75 actuator is hole at the top of the ball socket acting as a visual indicator ensuring the hitch ball is properly seated.
