This type of deck plate is a specially engineered lubricated gasket. It can be used in conjunction with a knife-edge for a leak-tested seal. The material used in Quarter-Turn Deck Plates is strongly resistant to chemical corrosion, heat, and physical impacts. To fasten using six pieces number 8 FH fasteners and are sold separately. The ABS Deckplate is available in white, with smooth-surfaced. When positioning the deck plate, you can put silicone sealant on the hull or deck surface. Note: Keep it away from strong solvents like acetone.
