A port baffle is a simple technique for closing and sealing a gasket opening in a manifold. The port baffle is a durable plastic material, generally glass-filled nylon, in its preferred shape. A baffle is two plate-like parts linked together by mating post and socket connector pieces integrally fastened to the members' adjoining faces. The press-fit retention system is provided by the mating post and socket connector elements, and each plate in the preferred embodiment has only one mating post and one mating socket connector element.
