The magnetic field will be stable when the current flow and magnetic field are at their maximum. The time it takes to create the magnetic field to its maximum strength is referred to as the ignition coil's "charge-up" time. The magnetic field will not achieve its maximal strength if the electric current is not transmitted long enough.
