This black nylon inserts eye end is used with jaw slides and deck hinges and fits 3/4" tubing for boat top frames such as dodger and bimini tops. When inserted, the edge of the tubing is flush with the exterior of the tubing and will not slide out. Top fittings are used to attach tubing to 3/4" or 7/8" circular tubing or 1" square tubing as a Top Cap or Top Insert. As part of a Bimini system, top fittings serve as a pivot point and an attaching point. 1/4" is the size of the pin. Nylon that has been UV stabilized and injection molded.
