The Rectifiers/Regulator is a voltage regulator responsible for charging control devices. It rectifies the power output from the ACG, charges batteries, and maintains the fixed battery voltages. It is not allowed to supply batteries with extra ACG output. Having trouble with the regulator rectifier is hard to diagnose if the battery is the cause. Just look for the sign of faulty regulators like poor starts, dimmed headlights, and fluctuating meter readings. The damage will be due to ground wire and a worn-out battery terminal corroded by that loose battery connection.
